Ismail is a junior in Mather House concentrating in Chemical and Physical biology. Ismail joined HCHA because he wants to know more about the field of healthcare and its intersection with other fields.
Alex Kontoyiannis
Vice-President '21-'22
Alex Kontoyiannis is a junior in Pforzheimer House studying economics on a pre-med track. He currently serves as the Vice-President of the Harvard College Healthcare Associates and is interested in healthcare consulting, healthcare venture capital, and health economics research. In his spare time, he loves to play basketball and hang out with friends.
Sammer Marzouk
Vice President '21-'22
Sammer Marzouk is currently an undergraduate student at Harvard College who is majoring in Chemical and Physical Biology with a Minor in Global Health and Health Policy. On-campus, he is involved with volunteering as a scribe at Boston Medical Center and through tutoring and health education in the Phillips Brooks Housing Association. Sammer is interested in the intersection of translational research and its clinical implications. And in the future, he would love to pursue a career as a physician while also conducting clinical research into improving patient care, especially in minority communities.

William Nickols
Director of External Affairs '21-'22
William Nickols is a sophomore at Harvard College concentrating in Statistics and Chemical and Physical Biology. On campus, he is involved with Phillips Brooks House Association tutoring and mentoring groups and Effective Altruism. In his free time, Will enjoys powerlifting, reading, and running. Will is considering a career in computational biology, but he also finds global health policy fascinating.
Serena Zhao
Marketing Associate '21-'22
Serena is a current sophomore planning to concentrate in Biomedical Engineering on a Pre-Med track. She first started exploring health from a research perspective (eg. searching for treatments for Alzheimer's and metastatic breast cancer) and from a clinical perspective (as a receptionist) in high school, and while she loved both experiences, she is excited to dive deeper into other aspects of healthcare - policy, consulting, etc. - with HCHA. She's also involved in other health-related organizations on campus (including Harvard Health Policy Review) and is looking to get involved in related research soon!

Malaika is a sophomore from the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois currently living in Currier House. She is deeply passionate about exploring the interdisciplinary fields of medicine that span to identify and address the intersection of the healthcare field with issues of social justice, mental health and wellness, and health equity.
Melanie Ng

Melanie is a sophomore from New York City. She is passionate about exploring the intersection between global health policy and medicine, and looking forward to a career as an aspiring physician. In her free time, she loves taking walks, exploring new places, and music.
Isani Singh
President '20-'21
Isani is a junior concentrating in Statistics with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy. This is Isani's third year with HCHA, and she couldn't be more excited to take the lead this year in putting together events that can be beneficial to the Harvard community interested in healthcare! Isani is hoping to go to medical school and wants to spend her career exploring the various facets of health, from the medicine, policy, and business perspectives. Being from Denver Colorado, Isani loves to hike and spend time watching the Nuggets!
